BLACK CURRANT is an all-female DJ trio from Rotterdam and Amsterdam, formed out of the shared desire to do things their own way and a mutual love for fuzzy guitars and dark and danceable sounds.
What started out as a somewhat unconventional online music publication back in 2018, filled with interviews and photo shoots with bands and musicians done whenever and wherever paths crossed, led more and more to dj-ing and hosting at festivals and events, and the BLACK CURRANT of 2024 is mainly focused on sharing the music they listen to.
